Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650, Shotgun 650
The biggest launch that’s likely this month and arguably also one of the biggest launches of the year, will be Royal Enfield’s long-awaited new 650cc models. The Super Meteor 650 and Shotgun 650 have both been spotted testing, and the most recent sighting shows them looking rather production-ready.
Updated Hero Xpulse 200T
Another Indian OEM that’s likely to roll out a new product this month is Hero MotoCorp, which has just teased the updated Xpulse 200T. The teaser highlights the visual tweaks that Hero will be making to the Xpulse 200T. Expect a launch sooner rather than later, accompanied by a small price hike.
Gogoro electric scooters
Hero MotoCorp recently launched its inaugural electric scooter, the Vida V1, and now Gogoro, the Taiwanese e-scooter manufacturer that Hero has partnered with, is all set to announce its India plans.
Ultraviolette F77 electric motorcycle
November 24 will see the official launch of the Ultraviolette F77 electric motorcycle. The Bengaluru-based company, whose product rollout plans were delayed by the pandemic, has worked on fast-tracking many of the planned updates for the Gen 2 machine onto this first production version. In the process, battery capacity has jumped up to a massive 10.5kWh and IDC range is a very impressive 307km.
The TVS-backed brand has commenced bookings for the F77 on October 23.
QJMotor
An all-new brand will be entering the Indian market in the form of QJMotor. This is a sister brand to Benelli and both companies are owned by the Chinese Qianjiang group.
In China, the company offers a vast array of over 30 models, across motorcycles, scooters and even electrics. But QJMotor’s India debut will feature four models, all of which will be petrol-powered motorcycles. The most familiar of these is the SRC500 (pictured above)..
