TVS upgrades 110cc Victor motorcycle with SBT

With the latest safety norm of selling every two-wheeler with ABS or CBS set to be implemented by April 1, 2019, the TVS Motor Company, today introduced Synchronised Braking Technology (SBT) in its executive commuter motorcycle – TVS Victor. As per the new norm, every two-wheeler up to 125cc should come equipped with a CBS (Combined braking system) and the vehicles with more than 125cc engine should be sold with an ABS system.

The key advantage of Synchronised Braking Technology is that it reduces the braking distance and improves stability while braking. SBT ensures that the front brake is automatically engaged whenever the rear brake is applied. TVS Synchronised Braking Technology further enhances the braking performance of the vehicle, by reducing braking distance by up to 10 percent, in comparison to traditional braking systems. There are no technical changes to the new motorcycle other than the inclusion of SBT.

TVS Victor’s 110cc is powered by an advanced 3-valve oil-cooled engine.  An electric start fires up the 4-speed powertrain to churn out 9.5hp of power @7,500 rpm with a torque of 9.4Nm @6,000 rpm.

The motorcycle promises a comfortable ride with its long seat being complemented by dual spring series suspension. TVS Victor also comes in a premium edition with a host of features like chrome side cover, chrome crash guard, golden case engine cover, stylish graphics, dual tone seat, available in 4 impressive colours – Black Gold, Red Gold, Matte Blue and  Matte Silver.
