Toyota Kirloskar Motor has announced that its latest midsize-sedan the Yaris will be offered as part of its special sales initiative catering to the government employees (centre and state) and defence personnel under the ‘Drive the Nation’ campaign. Under the scheme, the company will offer 100 percent on road funding for a period of 8-years for both serving and retired government employees with zero down payment and lowest EMI.
The company has also appointed dedicated employees christened ‘Drive the Nation Champions’ in each of the sales outlet of Toyota in order to give dedicated attention to all government employee enquiries. The promotional offer will be supported through its sales and service network across the country.
The company states the campaign has been highly appreciated by customers for its customised offers, and will see the Yaris as the new model to be offered along with the Innova Crysta, the Etios series and the Toyota Corolla Altis.
Toyota Kirloskar Motor claims the ‘Drive the Nation’ campaign has contributed around 13 percent for the company’s personal segment sales over the last year. The scheme was first rolled out in 2016 that offered a range of benefits starting from affordable funding solutions focused on low customer acquisition cost, offers on Toyota Protect Insurance and Toyota Genuine Accessories and extended warranty.
Speaking on the inclusion of the Yaris under this scheme, N Raja, deputy mangaing director, Toyota Kirloskar Motor said, “We are pleased with the overwhelming response that the ‘Drive the Nation’ campaign has generated since its launch.
