In an effort to inject new life into its Etios sedan and Etios Liva hatchback sales, Toyota Kirloskar Motor has launched the face-lifted Etios and Etios Liva.
Prominent changes on the face-lifted versions of the two cars include a brand-new design for the grille and front airbags as standard on all the trims. Other additions, as per trim levels, include a seatbelt warning indicator, electrically-adjustable wing mirrors, reversing sensors, new fabric seats, and faux-wood finish for armrests.
Speaking at the launch in Bangalore today, N Raja, senior vice-president and director (Sales & Marketing), TKM, said, “We launched the Etios in 2010 and since then have been enhancing the product with upgrades, limited editions and variants.
“Toyota is constantly working towards developing better technology to provide enhanced safety. With increased accidents and growing concerns on safety, as a first step we have standardised driver and passenger airbags for the Etios, Etios Liva and Etios Cross across all grades.”
