Toyota Kirloskar Motor sells 15,338 units in February, up 75%
Cumulative sales for the first 11 months of FY2023 are 154,855 units, an increase of 48,223 units over the 106,632 units in April 2021-February 2022 and constitute a YoY growth of 45 percent.
Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) has reported wholesales of 15,338 units for February 2023, up 75% over February 2022’s 8,745 units. Last month’s sales are up 19.50% on January 2023’s 12,835 units.
Cumulative sales for the first 11 month of FY2023 are 154,855 units, an increase of 48,223 units over the 106,632 units in April 2021-February 2022 and constitute a YoY growth of 45 percent.
Commenting on the February numbers, Atul Sood, Vice-President, Sales and Strategic Marketing said, “We are witnessing continued interest from customers across our product portfolio, resulting in a very healthy growth in February 2023. Leading this growth are the Urban Cruiser Hyryder and the Innova Hycross. Opening of bookings for the Toyota Hilux is also continuing to generate excitement, resulting in good orders from across the country. Other products like the Glanza, the Fortuner and the Legender also continue to thrill the market.”
Last month saw the company expand its retail network with the opening of two new dealerships in in Surat (Gujarat) and Bhiwandi (Maharashtra).
One of the highlights for Toyota Kirloskar Motor last month was the Innova Hycross being the winner of the 'MPV of the Year' title at the Autocar Awards 2023.
