Tata Technologies, a global engineering services provider, has partnered with Rayat Shikshan Sanstha, a leading Indian educational organisation, and Science and Technology Park, Pune for setting up Centres of Invention, Innovation and Incubation (CIIIs) in Maharashtra.
The engineering major says that in the coming months three more CIIIs will be set up in Mumbai, Pune and Ahmednagar. The company says the key objectives of establishing these CIIIs is to provide high-end industrial training to graduates for better employability and support innovators, potential young entrepreneurs by providing them with technical training, access to advanced technologies and co-working spaces, mentoring and private funding.
According to Tata Technologies, the CIIIs will comprise a Technology R&D centre, Advanced Manufacturing centre, Exploration R&D centre and enable innovators to build a complete product from ideation to a 'Virtual Build' or 'Real Build' working prototype.
Talking about this association, Anand Bhade, president APAC, Global Marketing and Communications, Tata Technologies, said, "We are delighted to partner with Rayat Shikshan Sanstha and Science and Technology Park, Pune in setting up state-of-the-art centers to empower technopreneurs. Our automotive engineering experts are collaborating with CIII management to provide real-time industry insights to students and innovators and to help them create world-class products. They will also mentor promising innovators and guide them from ideation to fruition of the final product."

The setting-up of the CIIIs will help upskill students and innovators to match with the industry standards, create employability for young graduates and availability of skilled resources for the region."
