Tata Motors Group records global sales of 1.15 million vehicles in 2016-17, up 9%

While cumulative passenger vehicle wholesales for the fiscal were 757,994 vehicles, higher by 12 percent over FY2015-16, commercial vehicles wholesales for the fiscal were 397,259 units, higher by 1%, over FY2015-16.

Tata Motors Group records global sales of 1.15 million vehicles in 2016-17, up 9%

Tata Motors has announced cumulative wholesales numbers, including Jaguar Land Rover, for the recently ended 2016-17 fiscal.  At 1,155,253 units, they are higher by 9 percent over sales in FY2015-16.

While cumulative passenger vehicle wholesales for the fiscal were 757,994 vehicles, higher by 12 percent over FY2015-16, commercial vehicles wholesales for the fiscal were 397,259 units, higher by 1%, over FY2015-16.

How the Group fared in March
Tata Motors Group global wholesales in March 2017, including Jaguar Land Rover, were 129,951 units,    higher by 9 percent over March 2016. Global wholesales of all Tata Motors’ commercial vehicles and Tata Daewoo range in March 2017 was lower by 6 percent at 42,596 units, compared to March 2016.

Global wholesales of all passenger vehicles in March 2017 were at 87,355 nos., higher by 19%, compared to March 2016.
