Tata Motors recalls BS IV Zest, Tiago for ‘potential emission issue’
The recalled lot include the Zest AMT and the Tiago 1.05 RTQ. Both are powered by BSIV diesel engines.
Tata Motors has recalled batches of its Zest compact sedan, and the compact car model Tiago proactively to rectify a potential emission issue, free of cost.
The recalled lot include the Zest AMT and the Tiago 1.05 RTQ. Both are powered by BS IV diesel engines. In an official communication, Tata Motors says, ‘Being a customer centric organisation and as a responsible corporate citizen, Tata Motors strives to ensure that its vehicles are emission compliant.’
The recalled Zest cars are of chassis numbers MAT624201FLD13319 to MAT624201GLC06228 and MAT624027GPD11615 to MAT624201GPE15201. The chassis numbers of the recalled Tiagos are MAT626184GKF16560 to MAT626141HKB10162. Customers of these cars can visit their nearest dealerships, or call 18002097979 for corrective action.
