Tata Motors launches Founder Edition range to mark 75th anniversary
Tata Founder Edition range, exclusively available for Tata Group employees, commemorates 75th anniversary of Tata Motors; available on Altroz, Harrier, Nexon, Tiago, Tigor and new Safari.
Tata Motors has introduced special Founder Editions of its cars and SUVs, to mark its 75th anniversary. The limited-edition models, which are a tribute to Tata Motors founder JRD Tata, are exclusively available for employees of the Tata Group.
The Founder Edition is available on all Tata Motors passenger vehicle models – the Altroz, Harrier, Nexon, Tiago and Tigor. The 2021 Tata Safari, slated for launch on February 22, will receive this limited edition as well.
The Founder Edition models get a few special touches that set them apart from the regular models. The chrome ‘T’ Tata logo on the front grille and the tailgate gets a blue background and the models also feature JRD Tata’s signature on a chrome plaque. The plaques are placed on the fenders, the tailgate and even on the dashboard. Customers will also receive nine Founder Edition postcards and a photo frame with the purchase of a Founder Edition model.
The Founder Edition models will cost the same as the regular model they are based on. The Founder Edition kits will be fitted to the cars at a dealer level. Mechanically, the Founder Edition models will remain identical to the rest of the range.
