Tata Motors Group global wholesales in March 2015, including Jaguar Land Rover, at 103,952 units, grew by 9% over March 2014. However, cumulative wholesales for 2014-15 were at 981,920 units lower by 3% over the previous fiscal year.
In March 2015, global sales of Tata Motors’ commercial vehicles and the Tata Daewoo range comprised 38,486 unit, down 2% over March 2014 numbers. Cumulative CV sales for 2014-15, at 377,841 units, were also down, lower by 13% over 2013-14.
The Group’s worldwide sales of passenger vehicles in March 2015 at 65,466 units was an increase of 16% YoY while cumulative passenger vehicle sales for 2014-15 were at 604,079 units a growth of 5%, over the previous.
Tata Motors’ passenger vehicle global sales in March 2015 were at 15,373 units, higher by 17% over March 2014. Cumulative numbers for the fiscal were 137,600 units, down 5% YoY.
Global wholesales for Jaguar Land Rover for the month were 50,093 vehicles, compared to 43,311 vehicles in March 2014. Jaguar sold 8,332 cars in March 2015 and 76,496 cars in 2014-15, while Land Rover sold 41,761 vehicles in March and a total of 389,983 units for the fiscal. Cumulative sales for Jaguar Land Rover for 2014-15 were 466,479 vehicles, higher by 9% over 2013-14.
