Tata Motors bags an order for 250 EVs from Aurangabad green mission

The auto major highlighted that the company's e-mobility segment is on a roll, commanding close to 87 percent market share in the first 11 months of the current fiscal and has sold over 21500 units till date.

Tata Motors bags an order for 250 EVs from Aurangabad green mission

 Tata Motors, will be delivering 250 EVs (175 Nexon EVs and 75 Tigor EVs) to individual customers as a part of an order received from Aurangabad Mission Green Mobility (AMGM), the company said in a statement.

 In the first phase of the order, 101 EVs were delivered, which included 70 Nexon EVs and 31 Tigor EVs. The handover ceremony in this regard was done by  Shailesh Chandra - Managing Director, Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles Ltd., and Tata Passenger Electric Mobility Ltd. The remaining vehicle deliveries will be completed as a part of the second phase, in days to come.  Speaking at the event,  Chandra said, “It is heartening to see members of AMGM adopt a green and clean future, not only as individual contributors but also as a community" adding that the development will act as an example for similar adoption in other States. 

The auto major highlighted that the company's e-mobility segment is on a roll, commanding close to 87 percent market share in the first 11 months of the current fiscal and has sold over 21500 units till date.  Tata Motors is closely working with other Tata Group companies including Tata Power, Tata Chemicals, Tata Auto Components, Tata Motors Finance and Croma, to contribute to the faster adoption of EVs in India through its EV ecosystem, the company continued.
