Talbros Automotive wins new business worth Rs 580 crore

Talbros Automotive Components has announced that it has bagged new business, covering multiple years and valued at around Rs 580 crore, from both its domestic and overseas customers across its business divisions, product segments and joint ventures.

These orders are to be executed over the next five years, starting FY2025, and comprise gaskets, heat shields, forgings, chassis and rubber hoses.

The EV-related business order, from a leading export OEM, is valued at Rs 270 crore or 46% of the total new business. This order is for EDS brackets, transcradle bracket, mid-metal shield, S3 pack and battery stampings and will be catered to by its Marelli Talbros Chassis Systems JV.

The order for forging products for application in transmissions, engines, driveline and off-highway products is valued at Rs 120 crore. Multiple domestic OEMs have ordered heat shield products, valued at Rs 75 crore over five years. New business for Talbros’ gaskets from domestic and export OEM clientele is worth Rs 40 crore.

There is another order worth Rs 75 crore from a domestic OEM for muffler hangers, damper front and hose canister air suction, to be supplied by company JV, Talbros Marugo Rubber.
