Suzuki Motorcycle India launches 2020 Intruder at Rs 120,000
The Intruder cruiser is the latest Suzuki to get the BS VI treatment.
Expanding its BS VI motorcycle portfolio, Suzuki Motorcycle India today announced the start of sales for its BS VI-compliant Intruder cruiser, priced at Rs 120,000 (ex-showroom Delhi).
The cruiser is powered by an all-aluminium, four-stroke, single-cylinder 154.9cc engine with SEP and fuel injection technology.
Commenting on the launch, Koichiro Hirao, managing director, Suzuki Motorcycle India said, “With the Intruder, Suzuki forayed into the cruiser segment. As a modern-day cruiser, the motorcycle offers premium appeal and distinctive on-road presence, fulfilling daily needs and making weekend rides enjoyable and exciting.”
Suzuki has a marginal presence in India's motorcycle market, In the first 11 months of FY2020, it has sold 35,395 units, which gives it a market share of just 0.33 percent.
