Skoda focuses on Eastern regions through partnership with Trinity in Odisha
The new Kodiaq Laurin & Klement SUV was revealed at the new 3S dealership facility.
Skoda Auto India launched its newly designed 3S (Sales, Service, and Spares) facility: Durgesh Motors, operating under the Trinity marque, in Odisha. The dealership facility will sport the new corporate identity and design which is a part of Skoda's global redesigning process. The inauguration also saw the unveiling of the new Kodiaq Laurin & Klement SUV for the eastern markets.
With the inauguration of Trinity (Durgesh Motors) in Bhubaneshwar, Skoda aims to further strengthen its position in Odisha, and push forward its campaign of establishing a strong foothold in the eastern markets of our nation. Trinity is located at the Cuttack-Bhubaneshwar Road and sprawls over an area of 21,961 sq. ft., which consists of an integrated sales, service, spares, and body shop facility. It accommodates a five-car display, direct reception, paint booth, six mechanical stations and body shop bays.
Commenting on the inauguration of the new facility, Zac Hollis, director – sales, service, and marketing, Skoda Auto India said, “Skoda Auto India is fully geared to strengthen its presence in the eastern markets of our nation. In line with our expansion strategy, and Odisha being one of the key markets, we are pleased to partner with Durgesh Motors. Skoda Auto India is revamping its entire dealer network which will entail manpower training, a customer-friendly layout, and business processes along with a refreshed design that will be the key to demonstrating the power of the brand.
Facing the East with a new SUV
Skoda Auto India introduced the new Kodiaq Laurin & Klement at an ex-showroom price of Rs 35.99 lakh. The Kodiaq marked the beginning of Skoda SUV campaign in India.
The Czech brand flagship SUV comes with a Virtual Cockpit: a customizable digital instrument panel that offers displays important driving data and navigation. The 360° Surround Area View, with an array of four wide-angle cameras mounted on the front and the rear as well as the wing mirror covers, displays the immediate area surrounding the car on the infotainment system.
Standard safety in the Kodiaq Laurin & Klement includes nine airbags, which remains the segment benchmark. It also features hands-free parking, door-edge protection, power nap package, virtual pedal, and digital voice enhancement.
Equipped with 2.0 TDI (4x4, AT) engine, the Kodiaq Laurin & Klement is available in five colour options: Lava Blue, Quartz Grey, Moon White, Magic Black, and the all-new Magnetic Brown.
