SIAM’s Commercial Vehicle Show to be held in March 2017
COMVECS 2017 is to be held at the India Expo Mart, Greater Noida, ahead of the BS IV deadline in April.
In line with its policy to host the bus show every alternate year to the Auto Expo, the Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers (SIAM) has announced that COMVECS – Commercial Vehicle Show – will be held at India Expo Mart, Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh, on March 1-3, 2017.
The event will showcase buses, trucks, commercial vehicle systems, accessories, tyres and tubes among CV-related products.
The objective of this exclusive B2B expo is to showcase the latest technological developments, provide manufacturers the right platform to interact with focused customers, offer more visibility to focused customers and enable a better understanding of the requirements of different user segments.
COMVECS 2017 will also see CV manufacturers display ambulances, school buses, army vehicles, mining and industrial application vehicles, and pick-up trucks apart from coaches, city buses and trucks. The domestic CV sector is poised for major transformation in the coming months with BS IV emission norms kicking in April 2017 and BS VI in 2020. According to Vishnu Mathur, director general, SIAM, “With the growth in Indian economy, increasing public and private spending on infrastructure and higher penetration of financing facilities, we expect the growth in each sub-segments of commercial vehicles to continue in the coming years.”
