Savita Oil Technologies, a leading manufacturer of auto, industrial and consumer lubricants, has signed an agreement with Tata Motors to manufacture and supply original oils for the automaker’s passenger vehicles as ‘Tata Motors Original Oils’.
Commenting on this announcement, S N Barman, vice-president, Sales, Marketing & Customer Support, Passenger Vehicles Business Unit, Tata Motors, said, “We want to ensure world-class service, spares and consumables for all the aftersales needs of our customers. This partnership will also help Tata Motors deliver original products at the right price and will ensure easy availability through the aftermarket.
With a sales volume in excess of 300,000 KL, Savita Oil Technologies is one of the largest manufacturers of petroleum speciality oils and lubricants in India. It has three manufacturing facilities in Western India. Its lube oil manufacturing plant, which will supply these original oils is situated at Silvassa and is a fully automated state-of-the-art manufacturing unit.
