Porsche India opens new showroom in Mumbai
German carmaker opens new dealership in Santacruz, which will take on the brand's 'Destination Porsche' retail concept, with heavy use of digital media, by the end of the year.
German sportscar maker Porsche has opened a new showroom in the popular district of Santacruz Linking Road, in Mumbai, along with the debut of the benchmark Panamera sports sedan.
Following Porsche India’s selection of Infinity Cars as the new dealer for the country’s largest city, a new 418-square metre showroom delivers Porsche standards of customer service before being converted into a digitally-themed ‘Destination Porsche’ centre over the coming months. With this new retail concept, the showroom will be transformed from a predominately product-centric location into a customer-focused brand experience.
Commenting on the dealership opening, Manolito Vujicic, Brand Head for Porsche India, said: “The opening of the new showroom in the capital of Maharashtra state is an important part of the organization’s strategic growth plan. With the ‘Destination Porsche’ enhancements ready by the end of the year, we will continue to provide innovative ways to make Porsche even more accessible to customers as well as enthusiasts.”
Under the management of Infinity Cars, a well-experienced luxury car dealership group representing a variety of marquee brands across different cities, Porsche Centre Mumbai has initiated operations with maximum commitment towards its customers and prospects. Five trained sales consultants are available for individual consultation, including bespoke customisation through the vast options offered by Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur. The showroom offers space to display the brand’s model range with up to five cars.
By end-2021, when it takes on a digital retail concept, Porsche Centre Mumbai will offer a further enhanced retail customer experience with touch-screens which will bring the products and services alive in an interactive manner. The entire sales and order process can be completed electronically, including E-signature and online payment.
Pooja Choudary, Dealer Principal at Porsche Centre Mumbai, says once fully finished, the new showroom will create an individual connection between customers and Porsche products that will ensure a personable approach at every level: “We are committed to offer benchmark service to all our visitors. With our group’s extensive experience in luxury, we are confident that Porsche Centre Mumbai will always maintain a ‘customer first’ approach.”
“The opening marks the launch of the new Panamera in Mumbai which is a great start to our new venture. The latest model features a sportier look that complements its enhanced dynamics and increased power. Focussing equally on the driver and its passengers, the Panamera is the ideal mix between the comfort of a limousine and the performance of a sports car.”
Indian customers can choose from four different models comprising the rear-wheel drive Panamera, Panamera GTS, Panamera Turbo S and the Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid.
