Eka Mobility had bagged the order for 57e-buses from the Mira-Bhayandar Municipal Corporation in July 2023.
Eka K1.5 e-LCV, built on a 300V architecture, claimed to offer highest payload, and minimum TCO in its category. The e-LCV also offers fast-charging capabilities.

Tier-1 supplier’s EV subsidiary Eka Mobility, which has received 700 orders for its 9- and 12-metre-long electric buses for deployment in Maharashtra, also plans to set up a second plant in Pithampur, near Indore.
