With the S1 Air, Ola has taken the EV battle into the thick of the mass internal-combustion engine scooter market.
The S1 Air is 25kg lighter than the S1 Pro and weighs 99kg, compared to a conventional 110kg ICE scooter.
The S1 Air, which has a top speed of 85kph and does 0-40kph in 4.3 seconds, has a 4.5kW hub motor and a 2.5 kWh battery pack.
The S1 Air gets the same 7-inch touchscreen TFT display as its more upmarket siblings and even gets reversing functionality.
Ola has an introductory ‘Diwali’ pricing of Rs 79,999 for its S1 Air till October 24, after which it will cost Rs 84,999.

Built on the same Ola S1 platform, the Ola S1 Air is differentiated by five two-tone colours – Neo Mint, Jet Black, Coral Glam, Porcelain White and Liquid Silver.
Deliveries are scheduled to commence from early April next year.

Ola Electric today revealed the latest avatar of its electric scooter – the S1 Air – and priced it at Rs 84,999, with an introductory pricing of Rs 79,999 for those who book the S1 Air on or before Diwali (October 24, 2022).
