Nissan Magnite gets over 50,000 bookings since launch
The Magnite compact SUV has contributed 88 percent to Nissan India's overall sales.
Nissan India looks to have finally found a mover and shaker in the all-new Magnite which was launched on December 2, 2020 . The company has announced it has received over 50,000 bookings and completed 10,000 wholesale deliveries since launch. The company has sold 10,038 units of the compact SUV, contributing 88 percent in its overall sales in FY2021.
According to the OEM, the Nissan Magnite has received over 278,000 enquiries with more than 50,000 bookings with 5,000 (10%) bookings on the digital platform and 45,000 through Nissan dealerships. Approximately 15 percent of these bookings are for the CVT models and 60 percent for the top-end XV and XV Premium variants.
Rakesh Srivastava, MD, Nissan Motor India said: “We are extremely overwhelmed with the customer response for the Magnite.”
