The Select Plus edition comes only with dual-tone paint shades and also features other aesthetic exterior aesthetic updates on the SUV.

The Pajero Sport Plus has been launched at Rs 30.53 lacs (ex-showroom, Mumbai) for the 4x2 automatic and Rs 30.95 lacs (ex-showroom, Mumbai) for the 4x4 trim.

The SUV will sport red-black, yellow-black, white-black and silver-black dual tone body colour liveries, albeit without having the rear fender done in the contrast shade, which otherwise is a signature tone of the Pajero. The blacked out portions include the roof, pillars, as well as the alloy wheels and the wheel arch claddings.

The limited edition model also sports LED DRLs, HID projector headlamps, cruise control and electronic folding ORVMs. On the inside, there are new bits such as front headrest mounted DVD screens and a car chiller box.

The Pajero Sport Select Plus remains mechanically identical to the regular Pajero Sport and comes powered by the same 2.5-litre four cylinder diesel motor. The SUV comes in both a 2WD option with an automatic gearbox and a 4WD version, which comes coupled to a manual gearbox.

The Pajero Sport plays in the highly competitive SUV space in the market, which is dominated by opponents, including the Toyota Fortuner, the Ford Endeavour, and also sees others, like the recently launched Isuzu MU-X.
