Mercedes-Benz India and Tata Motors appeal against Delhi diesel ban

The company has expressed willingness to pay the environmental cess of one percent levied on the sale of diesel cars.

Mercedes-Benz India and Tata Motors have independently appealed against the ongoing ban on registrations of diesel cars in Delhi-NCR. While the Mercedes-Benz moved the Supreme Court, Tata Motors has appealed to the National Green Tribunal (NGT).
