Mercedes-Benz India brings in the AMG C 63 S, accelerates 15 in ’15 strategy
Mercedes-Benz today launched the new generation of its highest selling AMG model ever, the all new AMG C 63 S for Rs 1.30 crore (ex-showroom, Delhi).
Continuing its acceleration in the 15 in ’15 strategy, Mercedes-Benz today launched the new generation of its highest selling AMG model ever, the all new AMG C 63 S for Rs 1.30 crore (ex-showroom, Delhi). The latest car by Mercedes-AMG is the 11th model to be launched by the automaker this year.
The AMG C 63 S is a powerful high-end rear-wheel drive sports car powered by a 4.0-litre V8 bi-turbo engine, developing an output of 375 kW (510 hp).
The new AMG C 63 S was unveiled by Eberhard Kern, Managing Director and CEO, Mercedes-Benz India, who commented at the launch, “The C 63 AMG has been a legendary sports car and with the launch of the new generation AMG C 63 S, the success story of the Mercedes-AMG brand will be further rooted in India. Be it power, driving dynamics or appointments, the Mercedes-AMG C 63 S sets a whole new benchmark and reinforces our brand claim of ‘Driving Performance’, like never before. I am quite certain that the driving dynamics, agility and sportiness of the AMG C 63 S will thrill our AMG customers. It once again demonstrates Mercedes-Benz’s technological leadership in the high-performance segment. We clearly have a winner with the new AMG C 63 S, off or on the race track.”

The launch of the AMG C 63 S further reiterates our ‘top of pyramid’ product strategy which highlights our endeavour in offering the best products from our global portfolio for our Indian customers,” added Eberhard Kern.
The Mercedes-AMG C 63 S will be imported as CBU, and takes on the likes of the BMW M3.
Mercedes-Benz India has now launched five cars within a space of almost one month after introducing the S500 Coupe, AMG S63 Coupe, AMG G63 and the Mercedes-AMG S 63.
