While not much is known about the XUV400’s powertrain at present, Mahindra is likely to equip it with a single front-wheel-drive electric motor developing around 150hp, and likely to come with two battery pack options.
The XUV400 will go up against the Tata Nexon EV, which currently has no direct rivals, and will be the entry point into Mahindra’s upcoming range of EVs.

The XUV400, which will be over four metres long, will have its design based on the eXUV300 concept.
