Under Global NCAP’s new and more demanding crash test protocols, the Mahindra Scorpio N scored 5 stars for adult occupant protection and 3 stars for child occupant protection.
In the side impact test with a deformable barrier, the Scorpio N showed good protection to the occupants with a score of 16 points out of a possible  seventeen.
The Mahindra Scorpio-N was tested in its basic safety specification fitted with two frontal airbags and ABS.
