Mahindra & Mahindra has launched its new small commercial vehicle range of Supro Profit Trucks, developed on the Rupro platform, with prices starting at Rs 540,000 (ex-Mumbai).
The company says the new range of cargo movers is affordable, more powerful, boasts a greater payload capacity and higher mileage. All these attributes are aimed at delivering higher profit to customers.
Commenting on the launch, Veejay Nakra, CEO, Automotive Division, Mahindra & Mahindra said, “The Supro has become one of the preferred small commercial vehicle platforms for our customers, given its efficiency and engineering capabilities. With the launch of the new Supro Profit Truck we have significantly enhanced the product proposition by focusing on customers’ profitability. While being competitively priced, it also offers class-leading performance, fuel efficiency and option of diesel and CNG powertrains.”
Mahindra says the Supro Profit Truck comes with attractive finance options and customers can avail loan tenure up to 5 years and lower IRR starting from 12.99 percent onwards. Customer can also avail upto 100% loan on the Supro Profit Truck.
The SCV is built at Mahindra’s Chakan facility and has undergone rigorous and full test cycle runs and has been validated on all performance, safety and reliability parameters. Tt comes with powerful AC and a mobile charging point along with a class-leading warranty of 3 years/80,000km (whichever is earlier).
In terms of performance, the Supro Profit Truck Mini is powered by Mahindra’s powerful Direct Injection (DI) diesel BSVI engine that produces 19.4 kW of power. It gets a four-stroke, 2-cylinder 909cc displacement engine that produces 26 hp and 55 Nm of torque, mated to a 4-speed manual gearbox. The Supro Profit truck features fuel smart technology with two options for Power and Eco mode, delivering class-leading mileage of 23.3km per litre.
The Supro Profit Truck Mini comes fitted with 13-inch tyres and boasts 170mm of ground clearance.
For the CNG powertrain, it comes with powerful 20.01 kW (27hp) engine, which offers 60 Nm torque and 23.35 km/kg superior mileage. It also features payload capacity of 750kg and best in class 3 years or 80,000 kms warranty.
Supro Profit Truck Maxi
The Supro Profit Truck Maxi comes with 1050kg higher payload capacity, bigger R14 tyres, 196mm of ground clearance and all new transmission. It is powered by Mahindra’s powerful Direct Injection (DI) turbo diesel BS VI engine that delivers a 35.4kW of power, 47hp and 100 Nm of torque. The Supro Profit Truck Maxi has a claimed fuel efficiency of 21.94km per litre.
The compact truck offers 1050 kg of payload carrying capacity in 8.2-foot cargo box. It is fitted with a day cabin with a deck body cargo option. It also comes equipped with features such as air conditioning and power steering.
