L&T Technology Services completes acquisition of Graphene Semiconductor Services

L&T Technology Services (LTTS), the business division of engineering major Larsen & Toubro, today announced that it has completed the acquisition Bangalore-based Graphene Semiconductor Services (GSS), a provider of end-to-end semiconductor services.

With this transaction GSS has now become 100 percent subsidiary of LTTS.  The company says this acquisition is in accordance with the terms set out in the agreement announced by the company on September 06, 2018.

LTTS says that Graphene’s strong offshore presence coupled with expertise in complete VLSI chip design and embedded software will enhance its capabilities in the semiconductor and product OEM space. Following this transaction, Graphene, with employees in India, Singapore, Taiwan, and Malaysia, has become a wholly owned subsidiary of LTTS.

At present Graphene offers customised R&D services spanning across the lifecycle of products right from component suppliers to OEM manufacturers. The company has a vast experience with leading OEMs, tool and chip vendors for system and sub-system design for the entire product lifecycle.

Graphene operates in 4 connected vehicular segments with independent ownership, engineer devices, builds differentiated applications, and provides testing support.
