Investment & Precision Castings inaugurates second plant in Gujarat

The Indian automotive industry is looking at new avenues to expand its clientele for seeking new growth opportunities, Gujarat-based Investment & Precision Castings, today announced that it has inaugurated its new facility adjoining to its existing plant and registered office in Gujarat.

The new plant will cater to aerospace, defence and medical implants industries, which it says will provide it new opportunities to expand its client base. The new facility will have an initial output capacity of 400 MT per annum, and the operation is expected to commence from end of March, 2018.

The company claims to have the capacity to produce investment castings in a wide range of material specifications and piece weight upto 200 Kgs. In the aerospace segment it supplies gimbal box, pedestal unit and structural castings, while in the medical implants it produces knee joint and prosthetic assembly parts.
