Indian Oil refineries have implemented BS VI clean fuel projects at a combined cost of about Rs 17,000 crore.
With BS VI-grade fuels, NOx levels will go down by 25% for petrols and a drastic 68% for diesel engines, which also have to meet a high 82% reduction in PM levels.
