Hyundai recalls 1,744 Ioniq 5 EVs to inspect integrated charging control unit

Hyundai Motor India has cited a “potential issue in the integrated charging control unit (ICCU), which may discharge the 12V battery,” as the reason for the voluntary recall for the EV.

Hyundai Motor India has issued a voluntary recall for 1,744 units of the all-electric Ioniq, manufactured between July 21, 2022 and April 30, 2024. The company has cited “potential issue in the integrated charging control unit (ICCU), which may discharge the 12V battery,” as the reason for the recall.
