The Alcazar is powered by a 2.0-litre Nu-series, naturally-aspirated petrol engine that delivers 157bhp and Hyundai-Kia Group's U2 1.5-litre, four-cylinder, 113bhp diesel motor.
In May 2021, Hyundai produced a total of 1,460 Alcazars at its plant in Chennai and despatched 1,360 units.
The Alcazar gets dual-tone Cognac Brown interiors, a voice-enabled smart panoramic sunroof, second row one-touch tip-and-tumble seats, 64-colour ambient lighting, eight-way power driver seat and advanced Hyundai Blue Link connected car technology.
The Hyundai Alcazar will compete with the likes of the MG Hector Plus, Tata Safari and the Mahindra XUV500.
Key highlights include a 10-25-inch multi-display digital cluster, 8-speaker Bose sound system, and front row seatback table with retractable cupholder and IT device holder.
