The Japanese carmaker today launched the BS VI- compliant City, priced between Rs 991,000 to Rs 14.31 lakh, which marks a Rs 15,000 increase over the current BS IV model.
Both the manual and automatic options are available in the petrol version of the BS VI Honda City; the diesel variant will be introduced eventually. Commenting on the launch, Rajesh Goel, senior vice- president and director, marketing and sales, Honda Cars India, said, “The launch of the BS VI Honda City will be followed by sequential introduction of BS VI versions of other models in our line-up.”
Speaking on the product enrichment for this midsized sedan, Digipad 2.0, Rajesh Goel further added that, “the new Digipad 2.0 in the Honda City will provide enhanced features, along with greater access and connectivity on the go to our customers, thereby delivering ease and convenience.”
