Hero Electric extends partnership with Zypp Electric
This partnership between Zypp Electric and Hero Electric ensures design warranty, specifications, after-sales support, and seamless execution.
Hero Electric has extended its partnership with Zypp Electric and will be deploying 150,000 electric scooters for Zypp Electric’s fleet in the next three years. Hero Electric has been associated with Zypp Electric since 2020.
This syndicate partnership will help Zypp Electric to maintain the growing demand on its EV rental platform and support its mission to provide access to 1 million users for both the last-mile delivery segment and rentals by the end of 2022.
Commenting on the partnership, Sohinder Gill, CEO, Hero Electric, said, “We have been in a long-standing association with Zypp Electric by inducting more EVs into its fleet. It will further enable access and penetration across diverse markets for Hero.”
Akash Gupta, Co-Founder & CEO, Zypp Electric, said, “We are scaling up our partnership with Hero by adding 1.5 lakh electric scooters to scale into multiple markets and make the #MissonZeroEmission, a reality with our tech-enabled last-mile delivery EV service for all top ecommerce partners nationally.”
This partnership between Zypp Electric and Hero Electric ensures design warranty, specifications, after-sales support, and seamless execution. It will also offer priority support to ensure the smooth running of the fleet for the end-users with better utilisation via Zypp fleet management technology. The constant on-ground input is shared with the OEM to be executed in new lots to ensure enhanced features.
With a fleet size of 5000 electric scooters, Zypp is currently present in the five cities of Delhi NCR and plans to ramp up to Mumbai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, and Pune this year to serve its growing demand of 30% month on month basis. Zypp has partnered with top E-commerce players across logistics, grocery, food, and pharma sectors to ensure sustainable last-mile delivery and now plans to take it nationally.
