GM India’s director (aftersales) bags World Auto Forum’s ‘Best Aftersales Head’ award

March 8, 2013: Sudhir Malhotra, director aftersales, Chevrolet Sales India, has been conferred with the ‘Best Aftersales Head’ award by the World Auto Forum in the Indian automotive industry for the 2012 calendar year.

The World Auto Forum has recognised Malhotra for successfully leading several quality programmes and initiatives in aftersales that have brought a marked change in customer satisfaction and perception of Chevrolet’s aftersales business in the country.

According to the World Auto Forum, which recognises auto manufacturers, auto vendors and auto dealers in 125 countries every year, Malhotra has displayed the ‘Platinum Standard’ in delivering performance, exhibiting exemplary leadership and enabling positive change at the dealership level Creating a positive impact on the brand perception of Chevrolet vehicles in India, not only has the aftersales team matched the market requirements of increased network and sales volumes but also been able to cater to increased responsiveness to Chevrolet consumers and dealerships.

Malhotra has 23 years’ experience in the Indian automobile industry and has previously worked with General Motors, Nissan India, Honda Cars India, Daewoo and DCM Toyota.
