Federal-Mogul Goetze (India), a majority-owned subsidiary of Federal-Mogul, has announced the appointment of Vinod Hans as managing director, India. Hans will be responsible for leading Federal-Mogul’s powertrain business in India, including serving as the key representative for the company’s partnerships in India with the Anand Group.
Hans previously served as director, Original Equipment Sales, Federal-Mogul Goetze (India), responsible for growing the powertrain business. He replaces Andreas Kolf, who has left the company to pursue other career interests.
“We look forward to the continued success of our powertrain business in India under Vinod’s leadership,” said Rainer Jueckstock, Federal-Mogul co-CEO and CEO, Federal-Mogul Powertrain. “Vinod has a proven track record of leading our sales activities in this region and we are confident he will help to continue to execute our growth strategy, in addition to ensuring our operations deliver world-class powertrain components to our customers throughout India.”
Before joining Federal-Mogul Goetze (India) Limited in 2008, Hans was head of customer relationship management for GKN Driveline India, where he led sales, engineering and program management for all Indian OE customers, aftermarket and export from India. Prior to joining GKN, he held various corporate projects, product development and business process restructuring positions with the Escorts Group of companies.
Hans earned a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the Regional Engineering College Allahabad, and a post-graduate diploma in business management from Birla Institute of Management Technology, New Delhi.
