ExxonMobil launches Mobil 1 5W-30 engine oil in India

ExxonMobil Lubricants has introduced its Mobil 1 5W-30 newer vehicle formula advanced full synthetic engine oil in the Indian retail market.

The company says the advanced full synthetic engine oil is designed to keep vehicle engines running like new by providing exceptional wear protection, cleaning power and overall performance. Mobil 1 5W-30 also meets or exceeds the requirements of the industry’s toughest standards and outperforms Mobil’s own conventional oils.

Mobil 1 5W-30's advanced full synthetic formula helps prevent deposits and sludge build-up to enable long engine life. It also offers outstanding thermal and oxidation stability, ensuring top-notch performance within the maximum oil change interval recommended in a vehicle’s owner’s manual. Other product highlights include enhanced frictional properties that aid fuel economy; and excellent low-temperature capabilities that enable quick cold weather starts.

Mobil 1 5W-30 meets the requirements of ACEA A1/B1; API SN/SM; ILSAC GF-5; Ford WSS-M2C929A / 946A. It also has the GM - dexos1 (license number GB1A0915015) builder approval.

Commenting on the product’s introduction in India, Anirvan Roy, marketing manager, South Asia Pacific, ExxonMobil Lubricants, said, “Whether on the race track or your daily commute to work, you can trust our engine oils to deliver – exceptionally and efficiently. Every engine oil we manufacture is backed up by a long tradition of technological superiority, thus protecting your car against wear, under any driving condition.”
