Etrio opens dealership in Mumbai, expands operations to 3 districts in Maharashtra
At present, Etrio is present in 5 states and aims to expand to 10 states and more than 20 locations by March 2022.
Telangana-based electric vehicle company Etrio has opened its first dealership in Andheri, Mumbai, in partnership with Mumbai-based Vijay Security Systems, The showroom will showcase its range of EVs including 3-wheelers for the cargo and passenger segments, which will cater to both B2B and B2C consumers.
Deepak MV, founder and CEO, Etrio said, “Our dealership in Mumbai, which will enable us to reach customers in 3 key districts of Maharashtra – Mumbai, Navi Mumbai and Thane. With this dealership, we at Etrio are going beyond our normal 3S dealership model (Sales, Service and Spares), by setting up Etrio hubs via introducing the ambit of charging infrastructure and driver training centres at the dealership centre itself."
He added, "Essentially we are setting up a miniature EV ecosystem that will holistically aid the local EV adoption. We at Etrio have always aimed at making a sustainable and formidable presence at the local level, in a bid to create more awareness and bring potential customers into the EV fold. And in order to make this happen, we strongly believe that our dealer-partner in Maharashtra will be playing an important role in the near future.”
Nishit Salol, Director, VSSL said: “VSSL is looking forward to its partnership with Etrio in the EV space and has growth plans to expand in other locations in Maharashtra as well.”
Etrio, which currently has a presence in 5 states across India, and aims to expand its network to 10 states and more than 20 locations by March 2022. The company says it is ready to launch new high-performance 3-wheelers in the next two quarters and will also introduce a new cargo 4-wheeler range starting with the 1-tonne payload segment in the next few years.
Etrio’s current portfolio has EV products across payloads ranging from 350kg to 700kg including a 3-wheeler product range in both cargo and passenger segments under the brand name ‘Touro’ and a retrofitted (ICE to EV converted) e-LCV Tata Ace.
