VE Commercial Vehicles, the Volvo Group and Eicher Motors joint venture, has sold 3,176 units in November 2016, down 12.7 percent year on year (November 2015: 3,639 units). The sales comprise 3,067 units of the Eicher brand and 109 units of the Volvo brand.
However, on YTD basis, the company reports growth of 18.5 percent with YTD sales of 37,215 units as against 31,409 units in April-November 2015.
Eicher-branded trucks and buses saw total sales of 3,067 units in November 2016 as compared to 3,534 units in November 2015, representing a decline of 13.2 percent. Volvo trucks have recorded sales of 109 units in November 2016 as compared to 105 units in November 2015, representing a growth of 3.8 percent.
