Change of guard at Daimler India Commercial Vehicles

Mitsubishi Fuso Truck and Bus Corporation (MFTBC) and Daimler India Commercial Vehicles (DICV), which operate under the Daimler Trucks Asia umbrella since August 2013, have announced key personnel changes in their Board of Management.

Change of guard at Daimler India Commercial Vehicles

Mitsubishi Fuso Truck and Bus Corporation (MFTBC) and Daimler India Commercial Vehicles (DICV), which operate under the Daimler Trucks Asia umbrella since August 2013, have announced key personnel changes in their Board of Management.
Marc Llistosella, currently MD and CEO, DICV will become head  (Marketing, Sales & Aftersales), Daimler Trucks Asia and DICV based at Tokyo, Japan, effective June 1, 2014. He will continue to report to Dr Albert Kirchmann, president and CEO of MFTBC and head of Daimler Trucks Asia, and will continue to oversee DICV’s Indian operations, overall.
Llistosella has spearheaded DICV right from a planning phase as a greenfield project through to developing a whole new product range under the BharatBenz brand for the Indian market as well as Fuso trucks for markets in Asia and Africa.
Erich Nesselhauf, currently vice-president - Supply Chain Management, DICV, will become MD and CEO of DICV, effective June 1, 2014 and will be based in India. He has been involved in the DICV greenfield project from 2008 and has built the entire supplier base for the truckmaker, achieving a localisation of 85 percent for BharatBenz trucks at its start of production in 2012. In his new role, he will be in-charge of the entire DICV operations in India, and will report to Marc Llistosella.

Kai-Uwe Seidenfuss, currently MFTBC senior vice-president, sales and aftersales, will become head - Corporate Audit at Daimler AG, effective June 1, 2014, reporting to Dr. Dieter Zetsche, chairman of the Board of Management Daimler AG. Heading sales and aftersales at MFTBC in his current assignment, he is credited with leading a big part of MFTBC’s growth programme which aims for a significant increase in global sales to more than 200,000 units by 2015.
