CFMoto India’s first showroom opens in Mumbai, six more planned next month
CFMoto has introduced four models – 300NK, 650NK, 650MT and 650GT – in India and claims to have 700 bookings in hand.
Chinese motorcycle manufacturer CFMoto today inaugurated its first showroom in India, at Thane near Mumbai. The company plans to expand its dealership network to around 50 by the year 2021.
According to Vamsi Krishna Jagini, Anvita AutoTech Works, “We are also ramping up the production to enable faster deliveries and meet customer demand. We see high potential in Tier 2 markets and are working aggressively to expand into those key markets along with metro cities".
Thus far, CFMoto has introduced four models – 300NK, 650NK, 650MT and 650GT – in India with pricing starting from Rs 229,000 and going up to Rs 549,000. According to company officials, about 700 bookings have been received so far. Six new dealerships are expected to come up in Bangalore, Hyderabad, Chennai, Kochi, Kolkata and Guwahati by the middle of December.
CFMoto entered the Indian motorcycle market in 2018 with local partner AMW which later changed its name to Anvita Autotech Works. The company has set up an assembly plant near Bangalore with an initial capacity of 10,000 units annually.
