Lubricant major Castrol today announced that as part of its partnership with Ford Motor Co in the Asia-Pacific region, it will provide dedicated support to the OEM in India.
This includes supplying engine and transmission oils to the Ford dealer network in India, and also working together for joint development and co-engineering of products that will further enhance performance efficiency of Ford vehicles.
The company says this partnership will come into effect from April 1, 2019.
The lubricant maker is looking to further consolidate its position in the Indian markaet by inking strategic partnerships with various stakeholders. In October 2018, the company had partnered Mahindra. The partnership saw Mahindra endorsing a range of Castrol products, which included aftermarket engine oils and transmission fluids for Mahindra Tractors.
