As India marches towards its ambitious path to improve adoption of electric vehicles, which recently also got a big push and support from the government. A lot many start-ups and established OEMs are now looking to contribute in India's ambitious push towards green mobility. M7 Creations organised the second edition of 'EV India Marathon Summit – BV Tech Expo India 2019 & India E Vehicle Show' in New Delhi.
The three-day event of EVs was held from March 22-24 at the NSIC exhibition complex in Delhi and saw participation from more than 100 e-vehicle companies and saw over 10,000 visitors. The event saw industry leaders including: Sohinder Gill, director general, SMEV and CEO, Hero Electric; Tarun Mehta, co-founder and CEO, Ather Energy; Rajiv Ranadive, managing director, Pixy Electric Cars shared their experience of EV industry.
A panel discussion on the phased manufacturing program for the 'OEM Industry' was conducted in the presence of Jagadeesh Kompala from Henkel Adhesives Technologies. As connected technology is playing a big role to shape up the industry, a session on AI and IoT shaping Industries was moderated by Anupreet Singh Jaggi with participation from Rohan Verma, director, MapMyIndia and Saurabh Rai, global head analytics and Strategic Initiatives, Tech Mahindra.
As electric two-wheelers is driving the EV wave in country, a panel discussion with the theme of 'EV for People' was also organised, which saw participation from Manish Verma, general manager, Okinawa Autotech and Pankaj Tiwari, head - business development, Avan Motors; Rajeev Ranadive, also shared his experience and expertise in panel discussions.
The expo also undertook an award ceremony to recognise excellence of companies in their respective areas and awarded them for their contribution to the electric mobility.
Commenting on the event, Anupreet Singh Jaggi, founder, M7 Creations said, "We are truly overwhelmed by the exceptional response of this year’s show, with over 100 electric vehicle companies participated. The show helped exhibitors, stakeholders, guests and industry leaders to establish long term connections that will result in new ideas, technological solutions and growth, along with scaling new heights in the EV sector."
