Bajaj Auto is on a roll, both in the domestic and export markets. As per the sales numbers it released today for September 2018, it looks like the company is headed for robust fiscal numbers.
The Pune-based major has reported motorcycle sales of 273,029 units in September 2018, a YoY rise of 25,611 units and 10 percent growth over September 2017 numbers. The OEM also reported its highest export figures for September 2018 with 157,910 units.
The half-yearly exports for motorcycles are also reported to be the highest ever with 869,373 units in the April-September 2018 period, which marks YoY growth of 27 percent.
Meanwhile, in the commercial vehicle sector, Bajaj Auto posted its highest ever half yearly export figures with 203,402 units.
It’s worth mentioning that Bajaj Auto has posted such strong sales despite the absence of any new launches or major updates to any of its portfolios.
