The third edition of the biennial Automotive Testing Expo, which is to be held at the Chennai Trade Centre (March 19-21), will have the latest technology demonstrations covering all aspects of testing, evaluation and quality engineering equipment.
The three-day expo will see participation from 130 leading automotive test equipment manufacturers and test service providers from 10-12 countries including the US, UK, China, Germany, France, Korea, Spain, Italy and Japan. There will also be a technology forum with representation from leading OEMs and Tier 1 and 2 suppliers.
Germany-based KMT Telemetry will showcase CTP8-Rotate, a programmable eight-channel telemetry system specifically designed for mounting on rotating wheels and rims.
With an eye on real driving measurements, which is included in forthcoming European emission standards for vehicles, Matter Aerosol will unveil the new NanoMet3 for solid nanoparticle counting and classification.
The US-based InterTech Development Company, which designs and makes solutions for leak testing, functional testing and test-centric assembly, is to announce a breakthrough technology for audit testing, inspection and lap applications. Its new M1075-121y Universal Audit Tester promises to do the job of many specialised instruments – ideal for quality control in the lab.
Meanwhile, Mangalore-based Canara Lighting Industries will shed new light on crash testing with lighting systems for auto crash test facilities. High-speed photography for automotive crash tests calls for an efficient and effective lighting system.
While the first Automotive Testing Expo was held in 2010 in Hyderabad, the second was held in Chennai in 2012.
