The Jaipur-based Autolite (India), which is showcasing its products (Hall 2-5, Booth No. 33) at the Auto Expo’s Components Show at Pragati Maidan, is seeing good footfalls at its stall.
The Jaipur-based Autolite (India), the flagship company of the Autopal-MPG Group, which is showcasing its products (Hall 2-5, Booth No. 33) at the Auto Expo’s Components Show at Pragati Maidan, is seeing good footfalls at its stall. On February 4, the first day of the show, the automotive lighting equipment manufacturer saw a handsome response from business visitors.
Speaking to Autocar Professional today, Adarsh Gupta, director, Autolite India, says: “The response at the Components Show is remarkable. Yesterday, we had close to 65 business visitors including many representing international OEMs. This being a components-focused show helps draw genuine business visitors.”
The company, which is currently investing heavily in LED technology and producing LED lighting products for major OEMs, has displayed its LED capabilities on composite LED headlamps, LED daytime running lamps, bar lamps, work lamps and turn signal lamps. The company has also made fresh investments in new technologies for halogen bulbs with a new plant at Jaipur.
“Our focus is more on the premium range of halogen lamps for the passenger car and two-wheeler segments. We have launched the city rider bulb for driving in city conditions and the long life lamps which use Autopal ultravision technology. The focus will also be on all-weather halogen bulbs that reduce the risk of accidents in heavy fog or during rains,” says Gupta.
Autolite’s R&D Team is working on mood-based LED ambient lighting and LED advanced front lighting systems. The company is engaged with global OEMs for providing solutions on complete LED lighting kits starting from the concept stage.
The company, which has been supplying to Indian OEMs for over four decades, also exports to more than 56 countries, with the bulk of its export business coming from the US and Europe. The group supplies to all the major OEMs in India and also has a major presence in the aftermarket segment with a widespread dealer and distribution network. The group has core competencies in manufacturing of automotive headlamps, work lamps, LED lamps, fog lamps, turn signal lamps, halogen bulbs, incandescent bulbs and miniature bulbs.
