Eighty women are in charge of the new P15 Engine Module (Assembly and Testing) line at the Hosur plant's H1 unit which has a production capacity of 62,000 engines per annum in two shifts.

Commercial vehicle manufacturer Ashok Leyland has set up a new engine assembly line, which is managed entirely by 80 skilled women personnel  at its Hosur plant in Tamil Nadu. This plant is a key engine manufacturing hub for the company which is currently witnessing double-digit growth in the domestic market.
