Given the rapid pace of electronics making inroads into vehicles particularly cars and two-wheelers, ACMA believes a PLI Scheme for auto electronics will give a fillip to Atmanirbharta.
Vinnie Mehta: “Many Indian component players have struck JVs in auto electronics and have positioned themselves to be able to move to the next level quickly. So, at this point if there is a policy that can act as an enabler, it would certainly enhance the pace.”
