On February 27, the company announced its partnership with Motomundo SA, the biggest business group in Honduras, to retail the Apache RR 310, Apache RTR 200 4V, Apache RTR 160 4V, Apache RTR 160 2V, NTorq 125 and the Wego.
Today, TVS and CADISA, one of the largest business groups across Guatemala and El Salvador, today announced the inauguration of their flagship showroom in El Salvador. This flagship showroom will be a distinctive store in Central America and will be equipped with full service and spare support for all retail outlets of the company in El Salvador.
TVS has launched six products – the Apache RR 310, Apache RTR 160 4V, Apache RTR 160 2V Race Edition, Apache RTR 180 Race Edition, Apache RTR 200 4V Race Edition 2.0 and the NTorq 125 scooter – for the El Salvador and Guatemala markets.
According to R Dilip, executive vice-president, International Business, TVS Motor Company, “We are optimistic about consolidating our presence in Central America with the help of our distributor CADISA. We have inaugurated our flagship showroom, aligned to the global quality benchmark that TVS Motor Company is associated with in over 60 countries. We have also launched six aspirational products which will be supported by a sales network of over 30 outlets. These products will address the specific needs of customers across different segments and are sure to carve a niche for themselves in the market.”
Elaborating on the association, José Roberto Paredes, senior director, CADISA said, “Our association with TVS Motor Company has resulted in bringing superior quality products to El Salvador. We are happy to launch TVS Motor’s flagship showroom and introduce six new products in the El Salvador region.”
CADISA is representing TVS across Guatemala and El Salvador enabling the Indian two-wheeler OEM to be present in over 100 multi-brand outlets and over 150 retail stores across Central America. The range of two-wheeler offerings will be supplemented with attractive retail finance schemes.
TVS revs up its export drive
TVS Motor Co is currently the No. 2 two-wheeler exporter from India, after Bajaj Auto. In the first 10 months of FY2020, the company has exported 572,749 units, which marks year-on-year growth of 13.46 percent.
