Toyota offers royalty-free licences on 24,000 patents to promote e-mobility

Royalty-free patents include advanced technologies for HEVs, for parts and systems for HEVs, PHEVs and FCEVs. The grant period will start immediately and last through the end of 2030.

In an effort to further promote widespread use of electrified vehicles, Toyota Motor Corporation has  announced two measures related to its patents and technical knowledge.
