Toyota, Nissan, Honda and Mitsubishi join hands for electric charging network in Japan

Toyota Motor Corporation, Nissan Motor Co, Honda Motor Co, and Mitsubishi Motors Corporation have jointly set up a new company, Nippon Charge Service to promote the installation of chargers for electric-powered vehicles (PHVs, PHEVs, EVs).

Toyota Motor Corporation, Nissan Motor Co, Honda Motor Co, and Mitsubishi Motors Corporation have jointly set up a new company, Nippon Charge Service to promote the installation of chargers for electric-powered vehicles (PHVs, PHEVs, EVs). This move comes about in Japan’s current favorable environment of government subsidies for charger installation.
